VW New Beetle RSi

It's the second abandoned car from Dubai in a row here, but this one is so special I just had to show it.
This car actually is not an ordinary Volkswagen New Beetle, but one of only 250 RSi-models built in 2001.
Its massive spoiler on the boot lid does not promise too much, as the 3.2l-V6-engine with its 224 bhp is capable of accelerating the car to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 6,4 seconds and makes it reach a topspeed of 225 km/h (140 mph).
I don't know the reason for a car even more rare than the Ferrari Enzo shown previously and still worth at least 30000€ is gathering dust in a parking lot in Dubai, but maybe there is hope that the owner is just enjoying a long holiday trip abroad.
[Update] According to the photographer, the car is still sitting in this spot half a year after he took the photo.

For comparison, here is a cleaner example of the New Beetle RSi:

Ferrari Enzo

While abandoned cars in Dubai are nothing uncommon, this one sure is. Unlike most other cars left to rot there, this is not standing on a street, but is gathering dust in a police impound lot. And although even the likes of relatively new Porsches get abandoned in Dubai sometimes, this car is much more valuable than the cars that normally are abandoned there.
Used Ferrari Enzos easily reach 1000000€, as only 399 examples were built between 2002 and 2004. Its 660bhp can accelerate the car to 355km/h (about 220mph).
I'll update this article with any news about the fate of this dream car.

Update 3.5.2012: According to this article, the Enzo is about to be auctioned by police after having stood there for 20 months. Added two new pictures above.

Update 26.5.2012: This article explains the Enzo actually is a piece of evidence in a criminal case and therefore won't be auctioned.

Porsche Cayman

Here we have a car that is a dream for many car fans, but has been abandoned on the roadside by someone in Dubai.
Edit 06.04.2013: The photo is no longer embeddable, but you can still view it here. The Cayman is the cheapest coupe by Porsche, but more expensive than its open version, the Boxster.
The car pictured is a pre-facelift-model, meaning it is older than two years and has 245 or 295 bhp. It at least runs 258 km/h (160 mph) and is, as every Porsche should be, a proper sportscar.
Used examples cost at least about 30000€ at the moment.
So, even with a missing bumper, there are enough people who would love to take this car.
If it was clean and undamaged, it would be more similar to this one:

Audi A8

Time for another abandoned car from Dubai, I think.

Not much to write about the Audi A8. It has been the big luxury limousine by Audi since 1994.
The second generation started in 2002, and the facelifted model you see in the picture was sold between 2005 and 2009.
It was probably dumped on the airport, when in the recession last year, managers flew the country in order to not be arrested.

The nice car abandoned here once looked similar to this one:

Kia Sorento

A quite new car here as the second post today.
This Kia Sorento has been abandoned in Dubai. Seems quite normal to leave almost new cars somewhere on the roadside there.

(Picture by Danny McL Click it for higher resolution.)
The Sorento has been produced since 2002, but this specific car is a post-facelift-model, meaning it can't be older than four years. The first generation has been sold till 2009, so at least it is not newer than one year. It seems more or less undamaged, but very dirty. Maybe the window wasn't open before somebody used the car as a litter bin, so it could possibly be destroyed. At least it will also be dirty inside.
The Kia was aimed at the European market as a cheaper alternative to Mercedes ML or BMW X5. Till now, it has been playing this role quite successfully.
If treated in a normal way, the Sorento should look like that:
