Fiat 500

The Fiat 500 was built more than 3 million times. Like every model produced in masses, some examples have not been cared for.
The car in the pictures is one of them. Without an engine or headlights it is sure to rot there forever or to be crushed.
Nevertheless, it is a small part of the big history of the Fiat 500.
As the successor to the famous Topolino, it was produced from 1957 till 1975 and was a big success. The example in the picture was produced before 1970.

The carreer of the 500 is not over yet. The current Fiat 500 has a retro design reminding of the old 500.
And in Japan, Duesen Bayern is building 500-"replicas" based on the Nissan Micra (called "Ritz"):
