[Special] Abandoned dealership - Jetberg Ltd.

This abandoned dealership is located in Swadlincole, United Kingdom.
The newest photos (from October 2009) show that there are 10 cars left there.

Vauxhall Vectra

Austin Metro

Austin Maestro

Vauxhall Astra

Volvo 440

Skoda Favorit

Rover 820

Renault T35

Lada Samara

The earlier photos from 2007 show two more cars, which were probably sold in the meantime.

Rover 100

VW Beetle

As you can also see there, the cars were a lot dirtier back then. So they probably still get cleaned sometimes.

This image by Google Street View was probably taken in 2008. The Beetle is still there, but the Rover 100 is already gone.

Jetberg Ltd. used to be a small used cars dealer founded in 1976.
However, it closed down some years ago. I guess that was in 2006, but I can't tell for sure.
There is a car leasing company with the same name and phone number, but a different address.
I am not sure if this is still active, but at least it was till December 2009.
Here you can find their homepage.

According to this document, there are plans to build 15 new houses on the ground of the former dealership.

I don't know what will happen to the cars then, but it would be a pity if they were scrapped.

    2. In addition to the credits below the pictures, each of them is linked to a page in your photostream (the one they were on when I posted this). Hope that's ok.

  4. Have to say that anyone that allows the cars to get in that state who are selling them, has to be treated as suspect, and the status of the cars would need to be fully vetted before anyone ever considers buying them.
